In this tour we will visit Lamas, a very colorful city that is close to Tarapoto, Lamas is considered the Folk Capital of the Peruvian Amazon since it has a rich history where the traditions of the ancient Chancas are fused together with the customs brought by the Spanish people.

Itinerary:

We will pick you up from your hotel to start this excursion through the city of Lamas, located a few minutes from the city of Tarapoto. Our first point of visit will be the Plaza de Armas de Lamas. Then we will go to the Ethnographic Museum of Lamas, an optional activity for the adventurer, a place where you can learn about the history and customs of Chancas and Lamistas. Later we will go to the highest part of the city: the La Cruz viewpoint where we will appreciate the great valley that is the road to the Altomayo area. We will also visit the Castle of Rocks, a dreamy medieval construction in the middle of the jungle from where we will appreciate Lamas in all their splendor. And finally, we will get to know the culture of the Wayku native community, who will instruct us about the benefits of their products such as blood of grade, Copaiba, Sacha inchi, among others.
