In this tour we will make a short walk into the beautiful Peruvian Amazon until we reach the Pucayaquillo Falls, which have a slope of twenty meters, through which its waters rush, come and let yourself be captivated by its falls and waters crystalline.

Itinerary

Our trip begins between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. where we will pick you up at your hotel and embark on our way to the entrance of the falls. The Pucayaquillo Waterfall is located 37 km from Tarapoto and a 45-minute walk from the town of Shapaja between the confluence of the Cerro Escalera Regional Conservation Area and the Cordillera Azul National Park. We will start the 45-minute walk through the jungle enjoying the environment that surrounds us, the Amazon jungle has much to discover and within this walk we will find various wonders. After that walk we will be able to visualize the beautiful Pucayaquillo waterfalls, in which we can take a break and bathe in its crystalline waters which end in a pool with sandy soil through which it is possible to move without swimming and the rock where the fall impacts has a part that can be climbed and placed just below to feel the full force of the current. After that relaxing bath in the falls we will have our lunch to start the return walk, admiring the flora and fauna until we reach the exit to return to the city of Tarapoto.

Bring light clothing (swimwear, shorts or bermuda shorts, sandals or water shoes), slippers, towels, repellent, sunscreen, sunglasses, camera and / or camcorder.

A.- To book the Tour you just have to choose the desired date (preferably 48 hours before) and complete the form requested on the same page. The confirmation is immediate.

Q.- In case I am not in the range of the hotels so that they can pick me up?

A.- The meeting point will be at Jr. Cahuide 362 (3 blocks from the Plaza de Armas - Tarapoto), 10 minutes before departure time.
