Tour The Nuwas Forest

Let yourself be carried away by the following magical story, where they tell us that the spirit of the Nugkui land gave the women of the Awajún people the responsibility for the care of seeds and protection of these forests, with them, the Nuwas, being responsible for transmitting this ancestral legacy, where they, as protectors of the Nuwas Forest, teach how to grow plants, recognize them and prepare them to cure various diseases, to future generations who grow in a harmonious way with them.

To do this, we would pick you up between 7:00 am and 7:30 am at the hotel where you are staying in the City of Tarapoto, and then head to the Province of Rioja. Then we will go to the Awajún District, where this magical paradise is located, called the Nuwas Forest, where we can walk through the forest observing the flora and fauna of the place, in addition to listening to the ancestral songs and dances of the women. from Shampuyacu, protectors of the forest, we will also enjoy a fruit buffet, lunch based on fish or chicken and a gift necklace.

Finally, after sharing this magical afternoon, we will return to Tarapoto.
