Aventuras.pe invites you to discover the impressive floating islands of the Uros and the traditions and culture of the inhabitants of Taquile and Amantaní. Enjoy a tour of 2 days and 1 night and learn more about their way of life and their economic activities.

Itinerary
Day 1:
Between 7:45 and 8:00 we will pick you up from your respective Hotel or Hostel to transfer you to the Puno pier. Here you will board a boat that will transport you to the floating islands of the Uros. On the tour you will appreciate the natural beauty of the Sacred Lake of the Incas. The inhabitants of the islands are characterized by preserving the living culture and traditions inherited from generation to generation. You will learn more about their clothing, worldview, rites and beliefs. Then we will return to our boat and we will transfer you to the island of Amantaní, where you will be received by a Rural family that will provide you with the room in which you will spend the night, you will have 1 free hour to take a short tour of the island and take photos, then you will enjoy of a local lunch. At approximately 2:30 pm, the travel group will meet for a tour of the ceremonial temples of PACHA TATA and COTA MAMA. The tour ends at approximately 6:00 pm. At around 6:30 PM you will enjoy dinner at the Family Houses and at 8:00 pm you will be able to appreciate a dance meeting with typical costumes in the company of local people.
Day 2:
Breakfast will be ready at 7:00 am, after enjoying it we will go to the pier to board our boat that will take you to Taquile Island, once at the pier, we will start with a walk of approximately 25 minutes to a local restaurant, place where our guide will provide an explanation about the island, the traditions and customs of Taquile. You will then enjoy a delicious local lunch. You will have free time to visit the surroundings of the island and the main square. Finally we will return to the boat to return to the city of Puno.
