Full day tour Iquitos culture and biodiversity

Discover with us the fascinating biodiversity of our Jungle and at the same time the ancestral culture of our land.

Language: The Tour is carried out with a tour guide who speaks in Spanish.

We pick you up, between 8:30 am and 9:00 am, and then move to the Port of Bellavista Nanay, where we will visit the gastronomic huariques near the port, where we will learn about the typical regional dishes, then we will embark and sail along the River Nanay, to reach the Pilpintuwasi Rescue Center and Butterfly Garden, and then immerse ourselves in an extraordinary adventure, where we will enter an Amazonian forest, in a cage to see the metamorphosis of the butterflies, in addition to appreciating monkeys, birds and jaguars, the which were rescued and are protected here. Then we will go to visit the Kukama tribe, where they will make us feel at home, in addition to sharing their ancestral dances, crafts, and ancient preservation of their culture. We will go to the River in order to practice sport fishing, where we will catch native fish, especially piranhas. Finally at around 1 p.m. We will return to the City of Iquitos.

Recommendations: Bring light clothing (swimwear, shorts or Bermuda shorts, sandals or water shoes), slippers, towels, repellent, sunscreen, sunglasses, camera and/or video recorder. It is also suggested to bring cash because if you want to buy crafts or souvenirs, these places do not have electronic wallets or electronic payment methods.
