Itinerary
We will pick you up at your hotel in Huaraz at 9 am and we will start the journey to Honcopampa, an archaeological complex that belonged to the ancient Wari civilization. We will pick you up from your hotel in Huaraz at 9:00 a.m. and embark on an excursion to Honcopampa, an archaeological complex belonging to the Andean Wari civilization. After an hour and a quarter of travel, we will arrive at this site located in the Cordillera Blanca. There we will visit its vestiges to know the curiosities of its culture and its burials. We will admire the chullpas or funerary towers of Honcopampa, erected for high-status personalities. Afterwards, we will walk to the magnificent Yurac Yacu waterfalls, where we will be able to contemplate the spectacular fall of the Aquilpo gorge. And after seeing this paradisiacal corner, we will make a stop on the way so that you can have lunch on your own. To end the excursion, we will go to the Chancos Thermal Baths. In these waters with a multitude of medicinal properties you can bathe. We will spend approximately two hours in this place. You will leave there super relaxed! We will finish the tour arriving between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. in Huaraz.
