Itinerary
6:00 am to 6:30 am Pick up from the most central hotels in Arequipa then we will begin to travel to the salt lake of Salinas and Aguada Blanca for approximately 3 hours. 7:30 am We make a brief stop in the town of Chiguata to buy something light to eat or something to take away such as a bottle of water and cookies. After that we continue to our destination, we will pass through the Misti volcano and the Qeñuales forest, all the way it offers a spectacular view of the Andean panorama, which makes this trip very interesting. 10:30 a.m. We will be arriving at the Salinas salt lake, located in the Aguada Blanca y Salinas National Reserve, this lake is located halfway between the Misti volcano, the Ubinas volcano and the Picchu Picchu mountain range. When taking a walk around this lake, we will be able to appreciate a variety of animal life, especially Andean birds (pink flamingos) and migratory birds (ducks, condors, eagles, flamingos, hummingbirds, etc.) The trip includes a pleasant walk from one side to the other. from the lagoon for amazing images and luckily you'll enjoy how the local people collect the salt known as borate. ** Optionally at the client's decision, you can visit the Lojen mini volcano area and the thermal baths a little further into our tour, with this excursion the visit time is longer, therefore, they have time to have lunch and the return is at 16:30 pm ** In case of only visiting the Salinas lagoon and the Salar, the most important parts, the return is at 13:30 pm.
