The tour begins with the pick-up of passengers at their respective hotels (close to the main square) in case the accommodation is far away, the meeting point is in the main square itself (in front of the cathedral).

The activity is carried out with a tour guide who speaks simultaneously in Spanish and other languages.

Itinerary:

Our first visit to the Toro Muerto Petroglyphs. Where we can find a set of Petrogravures, blocks of volcanic rock scattered within the area in a total of 600 pieces. You can see zoomorphic figures such as: birds, mammals, reptiles, batracians, fish, etc. Later we will go to the Jurassic Park of Querulpa where we can see a small Museum of fossil remains of dinosaurs, replicas of Extinct Dinosaurs. In the same place you can see See some footprints of dinosaurs that inhabited the area millions of years ago. We also visit the rock formation in Aplao known as Profile of Christ and the Quiscay Hanging Bridge.


Afterwards we will pass through the town of Corire where we will have lunch in one of the local country restaurants. We will have a wide variety of dishes made with shrimp. Then we go to one of the Pisco Wineries, where they will explain to us what the process of making Wine and Pisco is like. It is advisable to buy a few bottles of Pisco and Wine because of the original flavor that we can get from this drink in this area of Peru. Next we will go to the Chancharay Spa, where you can enjoy the pools with water from springs; You will be given the entire afternoon free so you can enjoy these relaxing waters. Finally, we returned to Arequipa, leaving them near the main square, arriving at approximately 8:00 pm.

  • Precautionary warm clothing for the return.
  • Comfortable shoes to walk around the places of visit.
  • The sun in summer times falls intensely (November - March), it is recommended to wear light clothing and apply a lot of sunscreen, wear sunglasses and a hat.

A.- Best season to visit is from April to December, when the possibility of rain decreases.
