Visit the islands of the Uros and Taquile

Itinerary

Between 07:15 and 07:30 a.m. We will pick you up from your respective Hotel or Hostel to transfer you to the Puno pier. Here you will board a boat that will transport you to the floating islands of the Uros. On the tour you will appreciate the natural beauty of the Sacred Lake of the Incas. The inhabitants of the islands are characterized by preserving the living culture and traditions inherited from generation to generation. You will learn more about their clothing, worldview, rites and beliefs. Then you will board our boat and we will transfer you to the island of Taquile, already at the dock, we will start with a walk of approximately 25 minutes to a local restaurant, where our guide will provide an explanation about the island, Taquile traditions and customs. You will then enjoy a delicious local lunch. You will have free time to visit the surroundings of the island and the main square. Finally we will return to the boat to return to the city of Puno.

Recommendations:

Wear light and warm clothing, the weather is cold in the morning, hot at noon and windy in the afternoon.

Departure: 07:15 a.m.
Return: 3:30 p.m.

• All our units have the health and safety protocols established by MINSA.
• Alcohol gel and liquid soap for hand washing.
• Footbath for disinfecting footwear with 0.1% sodium hypochlorite (bleach).
